SOON TO BE MRS. MCCRACKEN!!!

On April 5th, Davis and I went to a Redbirds game....little did I know I was about to be proposed to in front of the entire stadium!!  I can't even explain how exciting his proposal was I never dreamt someone would do something that daring to ask for my hand in marriage but of course Davis has to go above and beyond!! The evening started with me grumpy because he refused to let me bring Jayce with us but I ended up letting it go and having a really good time.

 

One of the announcers came up to us and asked if we would play a game....at first my answer was NO! I thought we would be throwing a ball or something and I knew I'd embarass myself!  He then explained we simply had to pick a team for the hamster ball race and could win a lottery ticket so I was game!  Having no clue what was about to come...

 

 

 

I love the pictures the Redbirds crew got for us :)  Davis was very excited I said YES!!!

 

And much to my surprise by boogabear was there!!! along with several family and friends :)  I am beyond excited about this new journey for our little family!

St Pete -- JP's first trip to the beach!

On April 15th Davis and Jayce got to go on a work trip with me to St Petersburg, FL!  We had a great time and really enjoyed our little get away.  I will admit I was a bit worried about taking Jayce on a airplane but I also did NOT like the idea of leaving my boys for a whole week, so they decided to tag along and I am so glad they did!  Jayce did absolutely amazing on the plane, he never once got fussy and actually seemed to enjoy the flight.  He was also exceptionally good the entire trip, not that he isn't always but I expected the worse being out of his eliment and was very surprised to see how well he did!  Jayce still thinks hes on vacation as bedtime has gotten later and he sleeps in unless I wake his lazy self up!

Mr Parker's first time in the sand :) He wasn't too excited but it was bedtime!  He did love eating on the patio outside though!

 

We got to have dinner with Martie, my old MK supervisor, at Frenchies on the beach.  It was so nice out and we really enjoyed ourselves!  Martie I think even got a hint of baby fever :)

 

 

Two nights we took Jayce for a stroller ride along the bridges behind the hotel!  He really loved this wish we could walk him at night near our house....but we like in the boondocks!

On Sunday we tried Jayces first feeding with a spoon of rice cereal and he HATED it :( He wanted nothing to do with it, spit it out and cried when I tried giving him more!  I wasn't sure if he just didn't like the idea of a spoon or the taste so I gave him a little bite of sweet potatoes mom made and he loved it!  So I went to the store in search for something with some flavor instead of just plain yucky rice cereal...I tried it myself and it is GROSS!! I found that Gerber makes a banana flavored oatmeal so I figured we would give it a try AND the picture explain his reaction! He loves it :) still learning the eating off a spoon technique but at least he will actually eat this stuff!!  Sweet potatoes are next on the agenda once he gets used to being spoon fed, I can't wait to start making baby food!

 

Monday it was really nice outside!  My mom and dad were doing some yard work while watching Jayce so they decided to take him for a ride in the side by side!  He is hooked in with a seatbelt so no worries :)  Jayce really seemed to enjoy this...I have a feeling PaPa will be taking him on many rides in this when he gets bigger!!

 A few weeks ago we had a beautiful weekend...so of course my mom and I took advantage of the nice weather to get some photos of Jayce in his Easter suit :)  He is just so stinkin handsome!

 

 

Jayce's First Easter

Jayce had a wonderful Easter! He got to see the Easter Bunny and his picture turned out so cute!! We got to visit both his great grandmothers and celebrated my moms birthday with Easter at her house. I made pastel colored devled eggs :) Jayce had a Easter basket at our house and loved his stuff he even smiled in the picture! Nana also got hI'm a basket and gpop stopped by with a basket for all of us! Overall it was a great Easter.

Jayce is now talking all the time! He is getting better with rolling over but we are working on tummy time! He has switched to Nutramigen formula and we are having zero tummy issues Yay!! We can start cereal feedings with a spoon now :) he isnt to fond of it though!  Jayce Is very ticklish and has the cutest laugh :) He is almost able to put his paci in his mouth himself and loves chewing on his fingers!! Shots didn't go so easy this visit :( he screamed so bad and continued crying long after made me and nana cry too :( but everything is good and he's a healthy boy!!

Playdates with Kinsey and Landen!

Jayce had a playdate with Kinsey several weeks ago! I only took one picture but they were so cute together :)  They are two weeks apart, Kinsey is rolling over so much more than Jayce.

 

 Last week my cousin Ashley came in town and her little boy, Landen, and we got to have a playdate!! They are exactly two months apart but you can't tell! Jayce is almost as big as Landen. They were to precious playing! Here are some pictures of them eating eachothers hands and feet and even kissing haha I will break that photo out when they're bigger :)

Kylees 6th birthday :)

My niece Kylee had her 6th birthday party a few weeks ago! Crazy to think how much she's grown it makes me want JP to stay little forever!! We took advantage of the outting to snap some family pictures :)
