Jayce is 12 weeks :)

It's so crazy to think Jayce will be 3 months old at the end of this month!  He is getting so big so fast, I just want him to slow down for minute.  I sure hope he still lets me hold him when he gets bigger!

Jayce's has started to learn to mimic facial expressions.  Daddy has decide to teach him to pick his nose...he will actually do it to!  So we were playing one night sticking out our tongues and smiling as Jayce made the expressions back at us.  Then daddy started showing him how to pick his nose so I told him no to stop...this is the face I got for telling daddy NO!!!

Lately we have been doing a lot of running around.  I feel like life is consumed with cleaning, cooking and keeping up with daily chores.  So I decided this weekend I was going to stop doing EVERYTHING and spend lots of much needed time loving on my baby boy!  The only productive thing we did this weekend was put in a "new to us" couch that Davis' parents gave us!  It is so BIG and comfy, perfect for our little family to all stretch out on!  Wilson even has a spot :)  I took lots of pictures of Jayce this weekend so here are some of our lazy time together!

He looks guilty of something :)
 Such a happy boy!

My little Grizzlies fan
He is becoming a pro at rolling over!  Have to watch him he almost rolled off the couch!!

My Chunky Monkey :)
Mohawk and new jammies, thanks NaNa (my mom)!

Fun with JP

Here are some of my favorites....just random photos!

Two Months Old

Like I said before time flies with little ones!!

At Jayce's 2 month checkup I think I was sadder than him about shots :( He handled it like a pro, mommy on the other hand HATES needles!  He did scream but as soon as they gave him some liquid medicine he was good to go!

He weighed 12lbs 6oz and was 24 inches long!  His weight and height are in the 75 percentile, while he has a huge noggin it measured in the 90 percentile!!  He gets this from daddy ;)

Recently he has started talking so much and he is very playful.  He will mimic facial expression, for example sticking his tongue out or smiling really big!  He has also discovered he can feel things and loves playing with his hands....not to mention he has found the thumb!  He is just this week noticing his feet and wondering what the heck they are, he seems a bit confused when he moves them.

He laughs in his sleep a lot which is one of my favorite things he does and he LOVES Spongebob at the moment!  His favorite movies are Monsters Inc and Dispicable Me.  He enjoys his wrist rattles and likes to play on his playmat, however tummy time is NOT one of his favorite things!

He was eating 6oz every 3-4 hours however we had some tummy issues and the doctor recommended we take him back down to 4oz so that is what we are doing!  He uses Dr Brown bottles and is in size 1 diapers.  He is gradually outgrowing his 0-3 clothing and moving into 3-6 months, yes my boy is HUGE!  Went to the doctor on 2.15.13 he was 11 weeks and 1 day and weighed 14lbs!

My blue eyed boy :)

More Pictures...

I came back to work when Jayce was 7 1/2 weeks old and still miss him everyday but i know he is in great hands with his NaNa!  He has fun playing with her and I always get pictures of smiles :)  I cant believe he is growing so fast!  He is starting to talk now "baby talk" of course but it is so much fun!

Recently my oldest sister had her third child, welcome Ashlyn Skye!! She is so precious and tiny :)

One Month Old

Jayce is One Month Old!!

He is eating 4oz every 3-4 hours and starting to sleep better throughout the night!!  He rolled over at 5 weeks old from tummy to back and is full of smiles :)

Jayce's first month!

I bought the monthly stickers to keep up with Jayce as he grows!  These were his just born photos.  We are also taking a photo beside this stuffed animal each month to have a better idea of how tall he is getting!  It is crazy he looks nothing like this anymore!

Jayce loves his daddy :) I am so lucky Davis is amazing with Jayce!

JP in his suit! This was at Aunt Sam's revealment party, Jayce is having a girl cousin!!

His first pair of shades :) He actually kind of liked wearing them, too funny.

Me and my sweet boy, I love him so much!

Mommy and Daddy's outing to the Tigers game!  Cannot wait to be able to take Peanut with us he already loves watching sports with daddy!

Sweet Boy

Our precious boy had a head full of hair and everyone says he looks like ME!!!

We were in the hospital for 2 days so by Saturday we were beyond ready to go home!  When we put JP in his carseat it swallowed him :)

He was such a happy baby and is completely healthy!  He passed all his tests and was cleared to go home :)

The first few weeks I feel like all he did was eat and sleep!  He was very active though from the beginning.  My wild man lifted his head and looked at me the day he was born :)

His one week checkup went great!  He had gaines some weigh and was still healthy.  We got this photo of him looking at himself in the mirror at Pediatrics East :)  His pediatrician is Dr Montgomery and we love him!

This was daddy's first bottle feeding, Jayce basically showed him he didn't need help and held the bottle on his own!  I breastfed for the first 4 weeks then we started adding formula because mommy wasn't producing enough to fill this chunky boy!  We started with Enfamil Newborn but had some tummy issues and shortly after switched him to Enfamil Gentlease, he is still doing great with this!

This is another of my favorites :)  He is so stinking cute!

Our first family Christmas!

 JP smiled for Santa :)

Me and Nana (my mom) attempted to get some Christmas pictures but Jayce wasn't enjoying it to much!  It is crazy to think this was only a month ago and he was so tiny!

Time Flies!

WOW it is crazy to think my little Peanut is almost 12 weeks old! I am way behind on updating this so be prepared for A LOT!!

On November 28th we had our weekly checkup with Dr Reidley and everything was perfect with our baby boy! I was getting a bit tired of being fat and pregnant so we decided to go ahead and schedule to be induced on December 7th, my due date was the 9th.

Much to our surprise that night mommys water broke!! Davis and I were woken by Wilson, our dog, going crazy barking for no apparent reason. Davis got up to let him out and he refused to step outside and just continued to bark. Minutes later I got out of the bed, thinking I had to use the restroom and well we will leave the details out! I am positive Wilson knew his brother was ready to make his debute and warned us before my water broke, crazy how dogs can sense these things!

So on November 29, 2012 we picked up my mom and headed to Methodist Germantown at 3AM to meet our little miracle! I was not having any contractions or pain just the constant thought that I was peeing on myself, not fun!

We got into a room around 4:30AM and Aunt Sam was the first to arrive! Around 6 Dr Reidley arrived and i was about 5 cm dialated so she sped the process up. At this point I really started feeling the contractions and more family and friends arrived. Around 7:45AM I decided that I was ready for my epidural. The epidural took about 20 minutes and was not the easiest thing considering contractions were 2-3 minutes apart and rather strong but Davis helped me through it!

Around 10AM I was 5-6 cm dialated. At 12:30 the nurse said I was ready and we would start pushing in 30 minutes, honestly the adrenaline from hearing this made me have a melt down! So many emotions knowing I was about to meet this miracle after carrying him for 9 months! At 1PM we started pushing and at 1:16 Jayce Parker McCracken was brought into the world :) He couldn't have been more handsome!
