Easter 2014 Cont...

On Easter weekend we had a lot of playtime with Jayce's buddy Ryder and got to spend some time with my grandmother!  We even setup the pool for some water fun and let the boys roam in their diapers!  They really enjoyed the nice weather and being "side-side" as Jayce says.

 

 

We also went to a friends glow in the dark egg hunt, this was a really neat idea and Jayce had fun playing with all the kids!

Easter morning! Yes I am aware my child is spoiled, oh well! On my behalf I did think Easter was at the beginning of the month and started buying in March!!

Easter 2014

A few weeks before Easter we had some pictures done with our photographer!  They don't look that great on here because I took a photo of a photo lol but they really did turn out cute!!  He wasn't too crazy about the ducks.  If they were beside him he was okay but if they touched him he wasn't thrilled!

 

 

 

 

 

This year we had 2 weekends filled with Easter fun! My parents were out of town Easter weekend so they had a egg hunt and cook out the weekend before.  We setup up several things in the yard for the kids and Jayce had an absolute blast!

 

On the left is Jayce playing in the bounce house! We had this setup and his birthday and he wasn't quite big enough to enjoy it but now he is in love and did not want out!

 

To the right he is painting eggs with me!  I think we ended up with more on our hands and his face that the egg!

Jayce's first trip to PA

Unfortunately this trip wasn't on exciting terms but I am glad he finally got to go to Pennsylvania and meet my family there!  We got news that my great grandmother wasn't doing well so we packed up and drove the long 12 hour drive to see her one last time.  Although, it was sad I am really glad we went and that she was able to meet Jayce.

 

The LONG drive, he did so well.  I was really shocked at him willingly sitting in a carseat for a 12 hour drive with no temper tantrums!

Birthday & Wedding fun

My cousin's little girl, Evan, turned one recently and I just love this picture of her and Jayce!!  Aren't they precious?!

After the party we attended the Trundle wedding!  We had a good time seeing old friends and of course Jayce was as handsome as ever!

 



BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

We found out in Febuary that we will be expecting McCracken baby number TWO in September!!!  Although this was not expected we are thrilled and couldn't be happier :)  I will admit I am a bit nervous about having two kids I think it will be an adventure and I am glad they will be so close in age!  We find out May 2nd what we will be having, my guess is a girl!  This pregnancy has been way different than my first!

Jayce's Monster Bash

For Jayce's first birthday we had a Monster Bash!! It was a lot of work but turned out better than I had hoped for!  We had a great turn out with all of his little buddies!! Jayce was spoiled with love and lots of toys, he really enjoyed his cake pops and playing with family and friends!

This day brought a lot of joyful tears to my eyes!  I seriously can't explain how blessed I am to be this boys mommy!  We surprised him his birthday morning by filling his crib with balloons!! Needless to say he was ecstatic :)

 

We let him open one gift from us on his birthday and saved the rest for his party which was the following day!  He loved this car toy!  The smile makes me so happy!
